“Mes Invités de Mariage” — Last updated: October 2026
For couples (space holders): identity (couple's first names / surname), email, telephone, event information (date, venue, options), and technical connection data. Payment data is processed directly by the payment provider (Stripe) and is not kept by us.
For guests (provided by the couple or entered by the guest via the form): name / household, attendance, number of guests (adults/children), menu choice, allergies or dietary requirements, accommodation / transport needs, any message, and, as applicable, email / phone. If the couple ask for it: the people the guest would like to sit with. When the couple open a “Save the date” page, the guest who signs up leaves their name, their email and, if they wish, their phone number, so as to receive their invitation afterwards.
For guest data entered in a space, the couple (the Customer) are the data controllers et Eric RONCALI agit en qualité de processor, conformément à l'article 9 des CGV. Eric RONCALI est responsable de traitement pour les données de compte des mariés et la gestion du service.
If the space holder has expressly consented (box optional at sign-up or in the settings of their space), their email address may be used to send them information and offers from Eric RONCALI and its brands. This consent is separate of the use of the service and can be withdrawn at any time from the space or on simple request. It does not cover guest data.
Wedding suppliers. Couples can link to their space a professional who is preparing their wedding (caterer, photographer, DJ, reception venue, officiant, planner). This professional sees nothing until the couple has confirmed, box by box, what they share with them; only the information useful to their trade can be opened to them (for example, for a caterer: headcounts per moment, dish choices, and dietary requirements and allergies with the first names concerned, for only those guests who have agreed to them being passed to suppliers). They view without changing anything and never have access to messages, photos or guests' contact details. When a space is opened with a supplier's code, the rule is the same: no access without the couple's agreement. Each viewing is recorded in their log, and they can close the access at any time from “My suppliers' access”.
Management of the space by a supplier. The couple can also entrust a supplier with managing their space, section by section: the supplier then works in it as they do, in the ticked sections only, and has access to the information those sections contain, including, if those sections are open to them, the names and contact details of guests. They can neither delete the space, nor change the login address, nor manage the other accesses. Each of their changes is recorded under their name in the couple's log, and the couple can receive a weekly summary and withdraw this management at any time. A supplier can also create a couple's space with their agreement; as long as the couple's address has not been entered, the space is attached to that supplier's account, which then hands it over to them.
Sending to your caterer. When your caterer is Services Traiteur and you have entrusted your meal to them, Mes Invités de Mariage passes to their management software, solely for the preparation of your meal, your seating plan (first name and initial of your guests' surname), the number of your guests per meal, their dish choices, and the dietary requirements and allergies of only those guests who have agreed to them being passed to suppliers (tick box on their reply page, at the time they enter them). Your guests' contact details, your budget and your other data are not passed on to them. Closing this caterer's access or removing them from your list stops the transfer immediately. This information is kept by Services Traiteur until the end of the service, then deleted within 3 months, unless legally required otherwise.
Messages to the team. Les messages que les mariés nous adressent depuis « Aide et idées » sont lus par Eric RONCALI pour y répondre et améliorer le service ; ils sont effacés avec l'espace.
Access by our team. Our team manages accounts (plan, sign-in email address, archiving) without looking at the contents of the spaces. It only opens a space if its holders authorise it from “Help and ideas”, for a limited period; every opening is recorded in the space's log. When someone no longer has access to the email address on their account, the address is only changed after their identity has been checked with several questions about their wedding, and the old address is notified.
Overall statistics.
A wedding's space. Couples can delete their space at any time from their account: the replies, seating plan, photos and documents are then erased immediately. A space that is no longer used is erased 12 months after the wedding date and after the couple's last login. Thirty days beforehand, the couple is warned by email; simply logging in cancels the erasure.
Technical logs. sign-in attempts: 30 days; expired sign-in codes and “forgotten password” links: 7 days; sign-up attempts (anti-bot): 90 days; addresses unsubscribed from the waiting list: 30 days; log of emails sent (date, recipient, subject): 90 days; administration log: one year.
Payment. A record of a payment (amount, date, and the couple's name and email address) is kept for the legal retention period for accounting records, even after the space is deleted.
Backups. To prevent any loss, the database is copied every night and before each update of the site. These copies are encrypted, kept on our hosting and deleted after 30 days at the latest: deleted data therefore also disappears from the backups within that period.
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the rights ofaccess, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. For data entered in a wedding's space, please first contact the couple concerned (data controllers); you can also contact us at the address given above.
You can lodge a complaint with the CNIL: www.cnil.fr.
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the data (restricted access, secure connections). As no system is infallible, we encourage couples to keep a copy of their important information.
Only cookies strictly necessary for operation (sign-in session) are used. No advertising cookie or third-party tracker is placed without consent.
If you leave your email address to be told when the service opens, we keep your address, your first name and your wedding date if you give them. This information is used solely to announce the opening to you, on the basis of your consent. Every message contains an unsubscribe link; the data is deleted on request and, at the latest, one year after the service opens.
During an offer, if you request your access, we keep your first names, your email address, your wedding date if you give it, your personal code and, to prevent abuse, the connection address and time of each submission. This information is used solely to send you your code and create your space. If you do not create a space, it is deleted automatically three months after the offer ends. The link you receive by email contains neither your address nor your first names.
When couples open the photo drop, guests can send photos and videos through a private link. These files arrive in the couple's space, and only the couple can see them. The couple can then choose certain photos to display on the room's “wall” or show in an album: only the photos they have approved appear there, through a temporary link. Files are deleted when the couple erases them or deletes their space. A guest may ask the couple, or us, to remove a file they sent.
